90 day Belly Dance Challenge

Andalee, of “Belly Dance at Any Size”, has started a 90 day challenge. The rules are simple:

  • Dance every day for 90 days consecutively, each session should be at least 5 minutes.
  • Set a goal for what you want to accomplish by the end of 90 days.
  • Track each day in the progress tracker.
  • Write about it once a week.

With the summer season looming, and performances also looking, it’s a good idea to increase practice frequency. I like that you can count small breaks, as usually I really can’t do much more than 15 minutes at a time without some interruption. But I am trying to establish 15 minute breaks every hour or so while working, and my goal is to fill at least one or two of those breaks every day with dance practice. Also, they do say that you need 4-6 weeks to establish a habit, so I’m going to give it a go, and hopefully by the time it finishes, I’ll have establish a good level of work/dancing balance, and should have also had time to practice independently for my own goals.
