FCBD® World Wide Flash Mob announced

For the past 12 years, the FCBD®/ATS community has organised a World Wide Flash Mob. The original intent was both to showcase the style to the general public, and to allow *everybody* dancing the style to take part. These days the songs are chosen by the community, within the Facebook group.

These combined aims are why sometimes we have disagreements choosing the songs. Some songs are brilliant for showcasing the full potential and strength of the style while captivating audiences, but can be difficult for beginners to jump in. Some songs are very beginner friendly but might be far less friendly to the audience. It is a very difficult line to navigate, and every year there are heated debates. Don’t believe me? What do you need to know?

• Keep an eye regularly on the Facebook Group
• When the option comes up for music, propose a song, and *vote* according to the instructions.
• When the final list is offered, *vote*

This is an event that should unite all dancers. So let’s make it the best we can!
